What is Solo Leveling about?

The Webtoon is based on a popular genre of Dungeon gaming system where the characters level up as they go ahead in the dungeons. The World of Solo Leveling is filled with human beings with superhuman abilities, it all started 10 years ago with an event called the “Gates” which opened portals to different dimensions. These dimensions are filled with dangerous monsters and the Hunter’s job is to protect humanity by defeating these monsters. The Hunters keep leveling up as they reach deeper into Dungeons, defeating monsters is a way to hone their supernatural abilities and get better as a Hunter!

The Protagonist Sung Jinwoo is one of the weakest Hunters, this E-Ranked Hunter has always faced problems when he entered Gates to defeat monsters. One day Jinwoo is selected by a program known as the “System”, this would be the turning point in the protagonist’s life. His team faces defeat in a dungeon and that’s why the System counts him as the Sole Survivor of the party. This is how Sun Jinwoo gains superpowers and his strength level skyrockets, he achieves the power to transform the monsters he defeats into his devotees, also known as the shadows. Our MC starts learning how to control his new powers and rampages through Monsters, and humans and enhances his levels. The Transformation from a Scrawny Feeble Boy to the Most Powerful Hunter is a treat to experience, we are sure that the anime world will accept Sun Jinwoo as one of the best!
