The narrative begins with a loser’s perspective, a 24-year-old guy who finds no purpose in living. He goes to work, comes back home, sleeps, and repeats the cycle every day.

One day when he wakes up, he finds that a zombie apocalypse has struck the world, and instead of shivering in fear he laughs and jumps with enthusiasm. After a very stressful life, he finally finds his purpose in life. The very first thing he does is create a list of 100 things he wants to do before he becomes a zombie. That list includes going to the finest restaurants to consume gourmet food, having fun in amusement parks, and doing almost everything he wasn’t able to do before.

The anime is outstanding, there hardly is any anime that follows the same plot or themes as Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead. The characters are wisely picked, to add more life to the story, and barely a few characters appear unnecessary.

What if someone tells you that you are going to have 100 soul mates, would you believe it? Probably not, but if god himself told you, what would be your reaction? The narrative of the anime begins showcasing the struggles of Aijou Rentarou in finding a girlfriend. After confessing his love to more than 100 girlfriends, he finally gets not one but two girls. It all begins when Rentarou, visits a shrine before joining a high school.

While praying, god appears right before him and tells him that due to a mishap during his birth, he will have 100 soul mates that he will encounter during his high school years. On his first day of high school, he bumps into 2 girls who come out to be his soulmates.

The boy’s harem grows larger and larger as he encounters different individuals, and his love for all of the girls is equal. The show sometimes looks overly done and the interactions between characters may seem unusual. All that is due to the diversity of the characters in this anime, which leads to either too much screen time for a single character or less than required.

Everyone around the age of 6-10 dreams of becoming a real-life superhero, and wishes to patrol over the city to save civilians. The anime tells the story of a delusional average boy, who still dreams of becoming a hero despite hitting his late teens. The plot of The Eminence in Shadow revolves around Cid Kagenou, who dies while saving his classmates, and he reincarnates into a different world. His dream comes true when he finds out that god has bestowed him with the powers of inhuman.

With his godlike powers, he finds people with talent and builds an organization of them. All those people are no one but young girls around his age. He names the party the Shadow Garden, and together they become the indestructible party.

Despite having many girls by his side, Cid does not care to look at them. He fully devotes himself to saving the people and pretending to be a mob.

The supernatural phenomenon includes body swapping, reverting to childhood, unleashing inner desires, erasing memories, and struggling with emotions.
